I love gardening and growing food & herbs. The birds, lizards and spiders like our garden... worms are busy...hummingbirds and bees visit. 

I'm learning more about sustainable gardening practices. There is such a wealth of community here at wiser earth.

What beautiful efforts I see here, evidence of the transformations occurring in Earth people!  I am saddened at the

cruelty inflicted not only to animals -killing for food industry, but likewise in war -killing each other? Same problem.

I'm drawn toward a more raw diet, and am less interested in eating any form of meat -although I still do but minimally, and my husband and I are both going toward vegetarianism.

prayer for Mother Earth

Life is like a flower
unfolding,
the moon rises full
and lights up my face smiling,
clouds come and go
forming
beautiful paintings
changing
moment to moment.
And Earth, you're
so abundant
with life forms...
Some growing rooted,
some walking on four legs,
or two,
some winged,
burrowing,
sleeping...
Awaken us, Great Spirit
awaken our spirit, our Earth

our oneness,
help our dreams fly!
