About
Marlo currently works as the production coordinator at a non-profit documentary film company, Sacred Land Film Project (SLFP). SLFP is in production on a documentary film series that profiles indigenous people's efforts worldwide to protect their cultures and lands. Marlo holds a B.A. in Telecommunications with a Digital Media Arts focus from Michigan State University. She completed her M.F.A in digital media and documentary filmmaking at the College of Fine Arts in Sydney, Australia, where she directed several short films, including a 30-minute documentary exploring happiness and personal values in our consumer society. Before returning to the USA, she helped to launch a production company that trains disadvantaged youth, hands-on, in production and post-production settings with four fellow entrepreneurs.
