Dear Michael:

Thank you for inviting me onto this site.  As it turns out, I signed up for it last May, and left a message, to which there were but few replies.  I recall none.

Your re-invitation encouraged me to update my personal page on this site with news about my free web samizdat, LEARNERS: On the Move from WeaponWorld to PeaceWorld.  Please consult, should you be interested.

I am a solitary, shy and bookish autodidact, and so do not participate in these kinds of forums the way you do (so enthusiastically, by the long list of groups that you subscribe to) and the way I should to make my work better known.  I guess I need an extrovert publicist, or many of them, to pull me out of my shell.

It was a rare pleasure to hear your expression of interest.  I tend not to participate spontaneously and in general, preferring to engage in personal dialogues on topics of particular interest.  A great fault of mine, no doubt.  Speaking in general, I wouldn't know where to begin, beyond a bare-bones invitation to review my work and get back to me.  My obsessive hobby horse does not allow me much more leeway, and this work eats up most of my free time.

Should you or your friends have any points of interest concerning LEARNERS you would care to discuss, I would be delighted to hear back from you.

Thanks again for your hospitable invitation.  It was a breath of fresh air in my otherwise stuffy, dry and close-confined existence.

Thank you for your recent invitation onto this site; you honor my work thereby.

I am writing a free web samizdat entitled LEARNERS: On the Move from WeaponWorld to PeaceWorld, in English; and APPRENTIS: De la terre en armes au monde en paix, in French.  The whole work is free for you to read and meditate over.

Links to its individual chapters, as well as the full text in English and in French, are located at

http://peaceworld.110mb.com/020TABLEOFCONTENTS.htm

There are equivalent KEYWORDS and TABLE OF CONTENTS pages machine-translated into another dozen languages, all linked through the above-referenced URL.

Please feel free to browse LEARNERS.  It deals with World Peace:

WHY we are not there already

HOW we get there

WHAT we should expect from it

I believe that World Peace must be instituted first, holistically and globally, before other progressive project may be seriously implemented and before our most serious problems may be resolved.  No dice in the opposite order of priorities: the reductive fixes first and this holistic one last.  We will remain bogged down in the holistic morass of WeaponWorld, impossible to avoid, understand or fix; until we build holistic PeaceWorld, first.  Then all the reductive fixes will fall into place almost automatically.

I welcome your comments, constructive criticism and observations.  There are many CONTACT ME and CONTACT PAGE links at the top and/or the bottom of almost every webpage/chapter in LEARNERS, through which you may reach me via email.  I take my work and my readers’ comments very seriously; so do, please, be gentle.

I have recently moved LEARNERS from one web server to another, and thus changed URLs.  LEARNERS has no dedicated domain name.  In the process I have lost many Google and Yahoo first, second and third page keyword references to LEARNERS.  Many links to LEARNERS on old friends’ and peace co-workers’ websites have become obsolete.  My readership, once in the thousands per month, is now down to less than two hundred during the same time span.  Thus any new links and referrals to the above URL that you would care to make on your own site, would be very welcome.  I thank you for them, and for my recent (2008) re-invitation onto this site.
