Whether working locally, regionally or globally I tend to take the long view and seek the bigger picture. I am fascinated by patterns of process that can be seen in collective endeavors at every scale and seek to understand how we can become more effective with less effort on every level. My heart is broken. Broken open to be present with this miracle of life that we all are.... I endeavor to graciously accept the pain along with the joy.
For those who wish more concrete info on how I wiggle, I will say a little more. After spending nearly a decade exploring many remote corners, peaks and valleys of the earth I started staying in my own village more and more. Now I rarely cross state lines and never fly (I figure I spent my quota of air miles many many times over and now it's pay back time). I am happy participating in organizing individuals and groups in collective action and experience. I have gained considerable experience in various aspects of event production and I am currently focused on helping a number of organizations in my home town learn to coordinate their efforts in order that they will all be more successful in their efforts to serve our community, humanity and our planet. I am often seeking that balance of tending to the basic financial needs (my own and those who depend on me) and giving all I have to support the realization of a vision that I share with many in this community of a more unified and happy world with a bright future.... and sometimes I just want to hang out and watch birds.
I love food and helping to create opportunities for people to connect with one another around food preservation, preparation, celebration and a fire.
Wiser Earth- means so much to so many, I want to help it to truly take on a life all it's own and to grow strong. This is my dream too. Here is another poem.
The sun never says
Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe me."

Hi Marus,
Great to hear from you. What are you up to? I really like Hafiz too!! He inspired a bit of poetry from me last year.
I just signed up to learn Permaculture, but have yet to raise the money. I plan to implement it at Nickelsville.
Any ideas on fund raising?
Where did you learn all about raising food? do you do fermentaion? I really dig it.
