About
Mandy Meikle is a member of Depletion Scotland who has given 35 talks on peak oil and climate change since 2004, including a keynote speech at Scientists for Global Responsibility's 2007 AGM in London. Mandy became involved in energy issues 10 years ago, via opencast coal mining. After a spell writing energy policy for the Scottish Green Party, Mandy is now active with the local Greenpeace group in Edinburgh and the Transition Towns movement. Mandy edited the Reforesting Scotland Journal from 2002 - 2008.
