Returned from a two month sabbatical in Bisbee, Arizona communing with the wilds of the Chiricahuas and Huachucas. I've recently become a PhD candidate in Crop Sciences at WSU Pullman. I hope to focus on the grand ole issue of urban agriculture from several different angles: cleaning soils using plants (phytoremediation), breeding crops for organic urban conditions and the mental health benefit of farming/gardening in the urban environment. In the mean time, I've taken a break from organizing community events on issues of sustainability and social justice with my org called EcoNow. Making some wacky music on Record Label Records.
