About
Hi folks,
I am an IT project manager. Five years in the software consulting business have led me to study different subjects such as computer science, asset management, human resources and project management.
Most of my recent readings have included works from economists and environmentalists, which have led me to this website. I am not exactly an environmentalist, but I am aware of the fact that there are magnificent things to preserve out there. My collegues refer to me as "the ecologist" aka "the annoying guy who tells us to bring mugs at the coffee machine instead of using plastic cups, to reuse plastic bags, to switch off the lights and to turn off computers at night". Why not start with the little things?
I hold a MS, am and always will be an engineer (I like logic, what can I say), although as time passes I get more and more interested by spiritual issues. I am slowly moving from a very self-centered perspective to a more caring one. I would like to believe that WiserEarth will be a tool that will enrich this spiritual trip, which I hope will have a real, palpable impact on either people or the environment.
I live in Paris (Montmartre) and just love it. I am interested in learning other cultures, and am planning on moving abroad someday (Asia? America? I have a soft spot for California...).
If you ever stop by Paris, don't hesitate to ask for some advice, I'll be more than happy to give you insider tips. I'd also be happy to meet people from this community ;)
Cheers,
Am
