About
I am a Boston-based freelance writer and editor looking to work on engaging, socially conscious projects. Most recently, I edited a full-length manuscript on leadership and management for a research and publishing company in Cambridge, MA. I am currently looking for new writing or editing projects and would love to devote my skills to people and organizations doing good work in the world. I am originally from Maine, studied Government at Smith College, and am at present pursuing a career in media and publishing in combination with social justice work.
I am also the co-founder of the New Prosperity Initiative (NPi), a Boston-based media organization that collects and publicizes stories of people and organizations doing innovative or effective work to build prosperity/endpoverty. We have been working in the Boston area for about a year although we're still in the early stages of our development.
