About

I'm a radical, Green, anarcho-communitarian, bioregional evolutionary. Or something like that. I've been working for about 25 years to build institutions of independent media (mostly in print, now shifting to online) & independent politics (Green Party) in my home bioregion of Pacific Cascadia, on the west coast of North America. I'm passionate about enhancing communication, connectivity, and cooperation to create the deep transformation of our culture needed in these times.

My freelance business, Catalytic Communications, serves nonprofits & other change agents in developing messages and designing print & digital media to spread those messages.

I also have studied West African rhythms for many years and play the djembe.

Hi Scott,

Came across your profile from the "People" link today. It's nice to know that people from the older generation are very much passionate like the younger ones about making the world a better place for all. It's also nice to learn of another way of channelling our professional skill to contribute in that effort. We need more passionate and artistic messages for a better world in our print and digital media.

Nice to know you.
