Ladi Asgill is an Agricultural Economist and Project manager with Sustainable Conservation, an award winning environmental organization that implements clean air, water, and greenhouse gas reduction programs in partnership with Central Valley agricultural producers, researchers, and regulators. Ladi has helped to develop collaborative solutions to environmental and regulatory challenges facing the dairy industry in California. His successes include the adoption of conservation tillage by assessing the economic viability; and evaluation of alternative biofuel feedstocks suitable for California. He has developed expertise in the rapidly evolving field of greenhouse gas emission reduction in agriculture; and renewable energy production issues in California. Ladi has 15 prior years experience in the Ag industry. As a financial consultant and economist, Ladi helped renewable energy and other Central Valley-based agribusinesses solve startup and business continuation challenges. As product manager with Harris Moran, an international vegetable seed company, he successfully managed the trial and commercialization of vegetable varieties. Ladi received a BS in tropical agriculture from the University of Sierra Leone, an MS in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
