I am a program associate at The Berkana Institute and the North American Illuminator. My work touches all of the Berkana programs, including technical and communications support. I received my Master’s of Arts in Women’s Studies and Feminist Research from the University of Manchester in 2005 and continue my work with women and the voices of the oppressed in my personal life and at Berkana.

I come from a grassroots, DIY culture, getting my political and activist footing as a punk in the 1990s. It has always been clear to me that we start with what we have and go where we can and it is exciting to see other people taking their own ideas and running with them.
