I hold Masters in Environment Sciences (HNB University) and studied Environmental Law at WWF India. Hold diploma in Integrated Water Resources Management from UN University Canada, and trained in technical & management issues related to environment development at IIT (Roorkee) & GB Pant Environment Institute (Almora).
Prior to joining TNS India Pvt. Ltd in 2005, I worked with Unicef (2004-2005) Government of Uttaranchal (2001-2003) and Government of Uttar Pradesh (1997-2001) in different Managerial capacities in Environment and water development issues. Hold about 11 years experience in environment sector, that include developing programmes, strategic frames, programme evaluation, policy development, partnership building, etc. Have experience in coordinating with Government agencies, NGOs, Universities, Multi-lateral & bi-lateral agencies and UN organisations across region. I have good understanding about the issues related to water, environment and development in India and South Asia region. While working with Government(s), was able to influence the policy decisions, as contributed in important programmes in water & environment. At present work at TNS India’s Social Research division as Deputy Research Director, and lead the team of researcher in environment and water related assignments, and responsible for research designing, project management and coordination.
