About
Kenn Burrows has been a Holistic Health Studies faculty member at SF State since 1991. He is founder and Director of The Holistic Health Learning Center, HSS 329. He also serves as faculty advisor for the Holistic Health Internship and the Holistic Health Network (campus student organization). He is Producer-Director of the annual conference: The Future of Health Care. Prior to coming to SFSU, he taught at Foothill College for twelve years and operated Stress-Care, a corporate training and consulting company. He is presently completing a PhD program in interdisciplinary studies.
His primary research and teaching interests include: holistic philosophy (complexity, vitality, beauty and wisdom inherent in nature/whole systems); stress, self-care skills and health care alternatives; creativity, dialogue and co-creative problem solving; fostering human virtues and non-violent living; new forms of activism and the evolution of consciousness.
