I'm an award-winning science fiction writer and foresight expert. My six novels are widely available both in English and in translation, and apart from writing SF I have for some years been consulting on technology foresight for clients such as the Canadian government and the Canadian and American military. My cultural background is Mennonite, so my focus is on nonviolent means of of conflict resolution, including peacekeeping.
