About
Julian is the Associate Director of AASHE, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. Julian graduated from Lewis
& Clark College in May 2003 with an honors degree in Environmental
Studies. While there, he spearheaded a successful and nationally
recognized effort to bring the College into compliance with the
emissions targets of the Kyoto Protocol on climate change. Julian is
the author of Guidelines for College-Level Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventories,
an instruction manual for performing greenhouse gas emissions
inventories for colleges or universities, and has been published in the
International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education. In
the year between graduating from Lewis & Clark and joining AASHE
staff, he co-founded a business to produce biodiesel while studying
sustainable development in Barbados on a J. William Fulbright
scholarship. Julian is also a Harry S. Truman Scholar, a Campus Ecology
Fellow, and a USA Today Academic All-Star.

It's great to see that you're on WiserEarth. As the current student outreach intern, I would be interested in speaking with you about how WiserEarth could be useful to AASHE and its many members.
