Slow Food is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported organization that was founded in 1989 to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.

Hi Bowo.
Yes. My country is special, but we are trying so hard to take care this things, because is so deteriorated right now; including the social peace, the social security, the education, and peace. Is sad, but is true.

The nature is threatened by the called "economical development" that ignores the people and it's culture. There are a lot of corruption and injustice...

Our country is divided , so divided. Is sad too...more and more poor people and more money just for a very little group of people.

We have hope, yes...too....

Greetings Julia,

Thanks for the note. It's nice to contribute to this wonderful community full of wonderful people doing wonderful things in the world.

So you're from Costa Rica... the nation who had "enough with the military and war". I wonder how life is in this peace-loving country... Wish I can come visit there someday.

Hope to see more of you here Julia.

Love and peace :)
