I born in central Himalayan village In Uttarakhand India, after completing my studies we established a voluntary organization - AAGAAS FEDERATION (ALAKNANDA GHAATI SHILPI FEDERATION) as a founder and  chairperson since 2004.AAGAAS FEDERATION is affiliated to Earth Charter International. In hindi the meaning of AAGAAS is TO CALL OR ANNOUNCE FOR NEW AND CHALLENGING INITIATIVE.

We are working in the remote areas of central Himalayan region for Environment, biodiversity conservation and local resource based employment generation. Our organization is devoted to socio-economic development of rural poor and marginalized community of our region. The organization established the first Biotourism Park in the region with the support of parent organization SFCID (Society for Community Involvement in Development) and UNDP.

I am graduate of Science,post graduate in Social Science and Mass communication.Right now working for the AAGAAS FEDERATION as a full time worker and the activities of the organisation expended in more than 54 Villages of remote Himalayan region in the state Uttarakhand  in India.
