Dr. Miles, over a 20 year span, has held many positions from IT systems analyst to Chief Operating Officer and management consultant. His professional portfolio includes the design and launch of regional collaboratives, personnel responsibilities for over 150 employees and budget responsibilities in excess of $10million. Dr. Miles, successfully led business performance management & supplier development programs, faith-based community economic development reorganizations, and sustainability (triple bottom line) initiatives.

Dr. Miles’ primary objective is to promote sustainable (triple bottom line) business growth that drives enhanced organizational performance, enterprise wide accountability, increased profits, equity investment and mostly increased participation in sustainable living standards for all.  His research interest includes helping executives and their company's adopt and manage sustainability through applied research in corporate climate indicators and decision support tools and best practices. Additional research interest involves the buidling of sustainable communities within regional economies and the relationships between spirituality, cultural traditions and sustainability.
