Hi, glad to see you on wiserearth. We are looking for comments on a new wiki page we posted, and we need someone to break the ice with a comment, e.g., on our capacity building. I wouild really appreicate it if you would!
Participation in the wiki is by invitation only, and I invite you to join us. Please contact Anastasia Ordonez (aordonez@packard.org">aordonez@packard.org) if you would like to join our group on WiserEarth, titled “Advancing Diversity and Inclusion Through Grantmaking Exploration”. (http://www.wiserearth.org/group/diversity) to provide our grantees and select nonprofit organizations in California with an opportunity to help us explore ways that we might be more intentional about advancing diversity in our programs. As you might already know, a wiki is a Web page that is designed to enable users to contribute or modify content.This wiki will invite feedback on current or potential grantmaking opportunities in California in the following seven areas: 1. Agriculture and the Environment 2. Land and Water Conservation 5. Non-Profit Capacity Building 6. Early Childhood Development 7. Community Grantmaking in Five Central Coast Counties The project will run for approximately five weeks, and at the end of it we will share what we learn with you. This is just one of several avenues the Packard Foundation is using to explore diversity and inclusion in our work. We are looking forward to engaging with nonprofits in dialogue around these important topics. Participation in the wiki is by invitation only, and I invite you to join us.
