About
Amigos International is an organisation that stimulates the processing sector in developing countries by importing and finding markets for such 100% PICO (Produced In Country of Origin) products.
Important value added thus remains in the producing country. E.g. coffee is roasted, packed and labled in Ecuador itself and thus shipped to Europe, in stead of just the raw green beans. Please read more about this on our website: www.amigos-international.org (still only in Dutch).
Amigos International... because importing only commodities is a RAW deal for developing countries.
