About

I teach French at Pacific Lutheran University.  Did my undergraduate work at Princeton and my Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in 19th-century French literature.  Have been active in the peace movement since 2002 in Tacoma, in People for Peace, Justice, and Healing, and in United for Peace of Pierce County.
