About

I am an 8-year Chicago resident, activist, and trouble maker who is working to end hunger and homelessness through community collaboration.  I recently completed my graduate work in Social Justice at Loyola University Chicago, after working for 5 years raising money from the public for social justice causes.  I am now switching hats and working with the organizations I used to raise money for.

In my graduate work I interned at Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation on Chicago's Westside, organizing social service providers and learning about the politics of food banks and federal food programs.  Now I am the Community Outreach Director for the organization, looking at hunger, poverty, food system and food desert issues both on the Westside and in Chicago.
