About
I am passionate about creating, deepening, and expanding community - within my life, with people, and between human and nonhuman life. Completing my BFA at SFAI this spring, I have been creating and facilitating interactiveand dynamic art that provides opportunities for people to actively participate and develop community - including large-scale pieces at Burning Man such as Future Field '06, and Living Pulse '07 (www.thelivingpulse.org). I also co-host the art space COCOON at MAPP, a bi-monthly neighborhood art walk in the mission in SF (http://www.redpoppyarthouse.org/mappdates.html). Contact me if you would like to perform, show work, or curate.
I also love animals and plants, and would like to increase awareness in the public of local plants and animals, their qualities, gifts, needs, cycles, and interconnections. I would also like to participate in activities that promote and protect biodiversity and healthy habitats - as well as trees, local food, healthy gardens, peer to peer direct democracy, and all sorts of healthy practices. I would love to facilitate collaborative projects involving various groups.
I am also working with friends to further develop and practice Permaculture theory in life design - in gardening time, relationships, and activities - so that all work together as a thriving, cooperative, and dynamic whole.
I am looking to live at a community somewhere near San Francisco with a garden, chickens, where I can learn beekeeping, and share care of goats.
