About

I am a first year student at Antioch University New England in the MS Environmental Studies: Advocacy and Organization Porgram. In 2007 I graduated Keene State College with a BA in Political Anthropology, and it is my desire to continue this educational path to a PhD in Ecological or Applied Anthropology.

Currently I am doing research on social marketing as used by environmental groups to reframe debates, and am doing an advocacy clinic project with my city's carbon emissions reduction challenge.

Additionally I'm going to work on a project studying climate change impacts and social views of Antarctica, working as an intern at a local organic farm, and attempting aide a friend sell her Connemara ponies and a few Dutch Warmbloods. Ultimately I believe I would like to work with various local and international environmental groups.

In the not-so-distant past I was nominated to the Peace Corps to work in sub-Shara Africa doing forestry and agriculture. The universe saw it fit to move me in another direction apparently though.
