Bats

Resources for everyone who loves bats

From the list of bat organizations, bat resources, and other bat links we hope it will be easier for us to synergize to learn about and better protect bats.   Please add connections to your organizations related to bats, resources about bats, wikis about bats, etc. I especially recommend the Bat Conservation International website:  http://www.batcon.org If ...learn more

About

I am a mother of two, activist, writer and social worker.  I enjoy long hikes, early morning birdsongs, cross-country skiing, contemplative prayer, and community.  I currently teach a social work course at the graduate level and homeschool my sons.  My background is in community mental health and trauma healing particularly with diverse cultural groups.  I recently returned from international work in Rwanda and am seeking to soon settle with my family in an ecovillage.  I am interested in discerning what is mine to do in contributing to the Great Turning, and finally started a blog dedicated to envisioning a new, just & green economy:

I saw your comment on Korten's latest book.

I just started a book study group on "The Great Turning" to slowly evolve a few more souls.

"Agenda" seems like a future candidate.

P.S. - I lived in Phoenix way back before you can remember... 38 years ago. A fun place back then.
