About
Hola!
I'm Tricia, aka Trees aka Tori-chan. I have a background in Integrative Biology from U.C. Berkeley and have nurtured a passion for the life sciences my whole life. From the intricate and wondrous feedback loops of the endocrine system (hormones turn me on!) to the curious medicinal properties of plants (mmm, gimme anything pink and pickled with perilla frutescens!), if it falls within the realm of biology, I'm probably into it. If you're like-minded and find yourself salivating at the thought of illuminating phylogenetic studies, say hello!
I'm currently conducting research at the Natural Capital Institute, helping out with Outreach for WiserEarth. My primary focus is Health and Ethnobotany, and I am heading to Bocas del Toro in Panama to study Tropical Ethnobotany at the Institute of Tropical Ecology and Conservation ITEC for a month this summer.
And yes, that is me. And no. It's not photo-shopped. Ciao!

Thank you for adding our organization "Chauhan Medical and Research Centre' to Wiser Earth. Its been there on your site for ages now and it was quite accidentally that I discovered it during this weekend. Thanks once again.
