The 11/11/07 Warm for Winter Interfaith Thanksgiving Service was wonderful! Full of homeless education and worship shared by 25 faith communities; the collection of the more than a thousand handmade hats and scarves at the Trinity United Methodist Church were beautiful and touching. The panel with Rev Bloom, Rabbi J Mirel and Imam Polovina was also exceptional in study. Thank you for your participation and support. Over 2,250 handmade gifts went to the local WA homeless this year ,(700 more than last) before Thanksgiving. Again this year a freeze set in the day before Thanksgiving. All of the wonderful volunteers helped to make this a success. Think and start local, help globally
