About
I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love
For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith
But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.
-TS Eliot
I am a lover of life, in its many forms.
I am currently a doctoral student exploring
the relationships of cosmology, ecological consciousness, and Yoga.
In life and the world this research is taking the form of Deep Green Yoga, which integrates
deep ecology, permaculture, cosmology, and Yoga as a practice for integral sustainability.
I'd love to network around this research, as well as the connection to land through the body in general.

In other faces of life, I consult and teach classes, workshops and retreats
integrating Yoga and transformation.

Your work is to discover your work and, with your whole self, to give your life to it.

Rilke – The Book of Hours
God speaks to each of us as he makes us, Then walks with us silently out of the night. These are the words we dimly hear: You, sent out beyond your recall, Go to the limits of your longing. Embody me. Flare up like a flame And make big shadows I can move in. Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final. Don’t let yourself lose me. Nearby is the country they call life. You will know it by its seriousness. Give me your hand. |
