About
I am currently working in sustainability research and programme development using a Strategic Sustainable Development approach to sustainability at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. My main work focuses on development of sustainability education modules and a new Masters programme in Sustainable Product Innovation, advising masters theses that demonstrate different applications of 'Backcasting from Sustainability Principles', planning and running sustainability workshops for various target audiences ranging from graduate students to nurses to industry.
I have worked internationally in environmental outreach and education, have logistical experience with project implementation at the grassroots level, as well as experience working in positions of management, outreach and research. I hold a Masters degree in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability, having completed the program in 2007, and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph, Canada. I have spent time living and working in different countries including Canada, the U.K., Fiji Islands, Australia, Guatemala, Belize, Sierra Leone and Sweden.
My main interest includes working with communities, companies and governments to move tangibly and strategically towards sustainable practices. I also play music, martial arts, and priortize spending time with friends :).
