About
Julie Fiandt is a social justice activist and writer. Her passions include yoga and the holistic health movement, the global women’s movement, and poetry. She has an M.A. in Women’s Studies from San Diego State University and a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan. She works at a Metro Detroit domestic violence and sexual assault agency. She has volunteered as the Associate Director of Think Girl, a Metro Detroit-based feminist organization, as a birth doula, with the National Women’s Health Network, and with World Pulse: Women & Children Transforming Our World.
