About
Oscar Gonzalez has ample experience in research on Ecology, censuses, reproduction, distribution and inventories of bird species and bird communities in Peru. His professional experience is over 20 years working in almost all ecosystems of Peru and other countries. He runs out projects directed and managed by him; is member of Associations of Nature and Bird research and conservation. There are various papers published in Peruvian and international journals of scientific interest published by him. He is the main author of a new guide to the Birds of Lima, Peru. His teaching experience is in College, high school and elementary education in Natural Sciences. He is in the board of two Peruvian associations of research and conservation. Furthermore, he works as a consultant in research projects in Zoology and Environmental Impact Assessments, with experience in environmental audits. He has also interest in connections between Science and Christian Faith, Lectures in seminars on Ecology and Christian theology. He has fluency in Spanish, English and can communicate in basic Portuguese.
