About

I am the director of ECO2Sys, a specialist consultancy firm advising businesses in how to effectively integrate sustainability into the heart of their organisations and become leaders. An exciting global initiative, of which I am one of the leaders, is Be The Change "Change The Dream" transformational training, which is linked to The Pachamama Alliance.

My current areas of focus are the transformation of business and its soul. This includes helping change the paradigm under which the leaders of business function, inspiring employees such that a natural outcome is a more caring culture, with people feeling connected to the environment and other people touched by the business. One of the hallmarks of success is where people make decisions through their heart and head equally.

I work with and help transform regional communities to develop models of local sustainability and resilience such that they experience the potential and power of being connected with oneanother, and are totally accountable for their local environment and social well-being. An expresion of this in my riole as director of Regional Biofuels Australasia which has as its focus to develop regionally owned community based sustainable biofuel capability.

The development and use of locally produced biofuels is one example whereby this renewable energy source remains local from production to end use - no waste streams exist, only by-products which feed into the local industrial ecology. Sustainable communities (and business) can then connect with each other until eventually the planet becomes enshrouded by a global network of connected communities.
