I am primarily concerned with organic and sustainable (low-to-zero footprint) food, clothing, and shelter. I have formed a for-profit enterprise with a social mission to simultaneously address affordable housing and green building to provide smaller, affordable, net-zero-energy homes. I am currently making progress in the planning stage of a residential project to demonstrate these principles. Housing currently consumes enormous resources but technology is readily available that dramatically reduces this consumption. I would like to contribute to this effort starting one building, one home, one family at a time.
Foremost among the challenges I've encountered is that I currently do not possess the resources or skills to be able to accomplish this on my own and I can use all the help I can get. My business model is uncomplicated and requires only minimal startup and operating expenses and short term fnancing. If anyone has an interest in assisting me with the design and building of these smaller, affordable zero-net-energy homes, please don't hesitate to contact me. Meanwhile, I've done an enormous amount of research on this subject for the past several years and I'd be happy to share any information I have that someone may find useful.
