About

I am currently an urdergrad student at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO studying Geography, Planning, and Global Studies, I will graduate this May.  I am in the process of applying to grad schools.  I want to get into an architecture department.  My top choice is University of Washington in Seattle.

I have many interests and passions, most notably sustainable cities and architecture.

Ultimately I would like to earn a PhD and work for a university teaching and conducting original research on sustainability and urbanism - and conjuction with/or- work for an architecture, urban design, or sustainability firm.

I commute by bicycle or on foot, I do not own a car nor do I like the idea of personal automobiles and all the "problems" they have created for our society.  I like to practice what I preach and try not to be to hypocritical in my lifestyle.

I am a huge advocate of sports, recreation, and health.  I enjoy cycling, futbol, volleyball, and American football.  I try to stay active and healthy through sport and recreation.

Daniel,

I'm in Columbia doing what seems to be the same studyies that your following. I plan on a masters degree in Public Affairs rather than going to Arch school. If you would like to share ideas post me back. I would like to know more about what you plan on doing.

Regards,

Brad McConnell
