About
I use my 40+ years of professional dance experience in my efforts to positively impact social change. I do this through projects and workshops in two areas:
1. At risk youth and/or post conflict communities incorporating mediation through movement
2. People with memory loss using movement/dance as an alternative means of communication and expression.
Other project areas in development concern food/hunger and global warming.
I split my time between Istanbul, Turkey and Seattle, USA where I teach Ballet and Graham base technique at the University of Washington. 10 years ago I founded and currently still direct my second dance company Next Stage Dance Theatre for mature dancers. I am married and have 3 adult children.
