Hi Daniel

I used recycled sleepers for my garden beds.   However I think there is an issue with sleepers and how they were previously treated - you might wish to check this out.

I got my sleepers from

Bruce McMaster, he is at Lithgow.

Phone - 0427 721 839 or 6372 1839.

The sleepers are 3m in lenght so I had some cut 1.5m so my beds are 3m x 1.5m This works for me.

There were delivered.

Jerry Colby Williams on "Gardening Australia" on his website www.bellis.info  talks of coating hard wood with eco oil - I was unable to locate the oil he used.   This is an interesting website.   He is located in south east Queensland but has lots of useful info on adapting a surburban block into a great sustainable site.   You might already know it.

Good luck

Let me know if I can be of help.

Pat
