About
For nearly 2 years now I've been working to set up a Sustainable Open Innovation Platform called BioAlternativas (www.bioalternativas.net). The way this works is by brokering problems and solutions between companies (with problems and rewards) and a network of volunteers (solving problems to get rewards). I charge a small fee for the matching service, and to recover the investment made in this platform. For now the system works by signing up to a newsletter containing challenges, rewards and deadlines. At later stages the challenges will be visible on the website.
I'm also the regional representative of IdeaConnection in Mexico (www.ideaconnection.com). Partnering with them has allowed me to expand my service offering to include larger contests, prototype manufacturing, talent recruitment and transfer/licensing of new techologies.
