About

I left my previous job as communications director and director of media relations for an environmental non-profit organization in Dec. 2007. I have taken on CT Environmental Headlines (www.ctenvironmentalheadlines.com) because the more I became involved in the state environmental community the more I saw a need for everyone to know what is going on in the state as a whole.

CT Environmental Headlines is an online information service that provides synopses of environmental news stories and links to web sites containing those stories, as well as events listings, both local and regional. The web sites are those of daily and weekly newspaper web sites, as well as the major radio outlets in Connecticut and beyond.

CT Environmental Headlines is already very popular among leaders of environmental organizations, environmentalists, editors and reporters, lobbyists and law firms that have clients involved in environmental disputes. They find it helpful in keeping up with what is going on in the environmental community.  There is no other service that provides the coverage CT Environmental Headlines offers.

CT Environmental Headlines focuses on providing the environmental community and the public at large with today's environmental headlines, and is positioning to expand the website to include areas for visitors to post comments, events, their own news items, photos and video.

Previously I worked as editorial assistant for four years at The Associated Press in Hartford, Conn., as a feature writer at a daily newspaper in Florida and as an editor of several trade publications.
