About
educated as a nurse, health and sustainability are one and the same to me. a healthy system is a sustainable system. as an admirer of the earth and all it's processes i am most impressed with life's role in the development of soils. i believe, as Sir A. Howard and G.T. Wrench, that ultimately health comes from the soil. Therefore our role in the development or depletion of soils is ultimately related to questions of personal and planetary health. ... and soil is a carbon sink after all, perhaps we can capture some of that CO2 in the process. life has been building the soil bank for millions of years and i'm for getting humanity more consciously involved in that process, and more engaged with the earth(ourselves/life) in general.
Most recently i have left work in the hospital to grow food and do gardening/ecological education at a nearby primary school.
