About
Anyanwu Chisomaga is a young community development agent, a student of
Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, Imo State. He is the founder of
Youngster Solidarity Forum Nigeria (YOFSOR). Since 2005 he is the
community coordinator of International Candlelight Memorial. The
candlelight Memorial is a program of the Global Health Council, the
world’s largest alliance of organization and professionals involved in
global health. When he was 19 years he evaluated Nigeria's national
youth policy a program conducted by the UN youth wing.
He has a special interest in youth empowerment scheme through Human Rights, Education and Environment. Chisomaga has participated and volunteered in various community development programs. Currently he is the coordinator of these organizations in Nigeria, Taking IT Global/Creating Local Connections West Africa TIG/CLCWA(Imo State) and Network of African Youth for Development NAYD(South-East, Nigeria), Center for Public Enlightenment and Civic Education (CENPECE) and Solar Net International. Last year he was among the four students that represented Nigeria in the Inaugural Pan-African University Debate Championship in Botswana.
