About
HOW STUPID ARE WE?
I do not want to look at my grandchildren eyes and tell them "how stupid we were". I do not want their grandchildren to ask "How stupid were we?".
My 3 Grand Essentials of happiness are:
Having Something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.
Me

My name is Camila, I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. I am a mutt: Russian, Aztec Mexican and Spanish.
I believe in change, I believe in people and the benefit of no human being the same. A couple of months ago, along with kristy and other extraordinary individuals, we have been working towards the creation of an organization called Idealist San Francisco . We seek to live up to the ideals that founded Action Without Borders and the Idealist.org website on a local level. We will work toward social unity in the world through our actions and interests promoting change, social justice and collaboration with others in the local, virtual and international community.
Music and the beauty of natural environment inspires my daily living. Traveling and unrevealing the secrets of the world and human culture brings life to my veins. Both together reveal the brightest smile on my face. Understanding, curiosity and knowledge pump the soul of ideas to my brain. Love for life and others build my stronger heart.
i know it sounds like a dream
but its the only thing that can get me to sleep at night,
i know its hard to believe
but its easy to see that something here isn't right

Environmental Interests
For the past months I have been very curious in understanding the sustainable energy field and policy, especially biofuels.Coming from Brazil, I am interested in looking into the environmental and social impacts of the large-scale implementation of an ethanol program. I would like to see more research evidence on the concurrent effects of increase food prices and environmental degradation (especially in the Amazon forest and soil use) in relation with an increase incentive of ethanol production in developing countries, such as Brazil, Indonesia and South Africa.
Drop me a note, share your insights. I would love learn about new ideas, concepts and how to become more involved.

Camila,
Bjos, |

Thanks for creating such an open and compelling profile. We will have many more networking functions in a month or two. We are still new, young, and unfinished, but I think these will help in creating a broader network for you to find the work and challenges you want and deserve. My best Paul |

Hi Camila
It's great to know about you. Your "3 grand essentials" reminds me of "3 Questions" of Leo Tolstoy,
I read 30 years ago!
Who is the most important person in your life?
What is the most important thing to do?
What is the most important time in life?
All the best
