About
I am a senior at Oklahoma State University, and will be graduation in May with a major in Sociology and minors in French and Leadership and Ethics. Upon graduation I will live in France for a year, hoping to hone my language skills, working as a nanny and living in the alps. Although human rights and grassroots organization is what my main experience is in, I have found a new passion for sustainable living. In France, I will be in a small village, and hope to gain skills in gardening and living simply. I would love to come back to the States and work to organize efforts to work towards sustainability either locally, in urban communities, or nationally. Eventually, I hope to utilize the skills I have acquired, by living in a sustainable community back in Oklahoma with my family.

Hello Bobbie,
Just saw your comment on the Sustainable Communities portal. Try browsing through the links in the "Connections" box, on the right sidebar of that page. There are organizations, people and groups tagged with "Sustainable Communities".
If you want to immediately talk to people doing this, try joining the Blue Mountains Permaculture group (based in Australia) and leave a comment on their chatterbox.
Hope you find some good leads.
Cheers,
Bowo
