About

Born & raised in Miami, FL & Nassau, Bahamas.  I am a Certified Permaculture Designer & LEED AP, formally trained in Architecture & Environmental Design.  I am an alumnus of the Arcosanti project in Arizona, where I helped develop a small-scale solar & wind energy program for the community that keeps the all important "beer fridge" in continuous opperation, and participated in the design & construction of the ongoing project.

I served as Outreach Coordinator for non-profit Local Energy in Santa Fe, NM, while conducting the feasability study for the Santa Fe Biomass-Fired District Energy Project.  The preliminary engineering and design of the main district heating system for downtown Santa Fe, NM utilizes the sustainable harvest of over-populated, small-diameter timber as a local fuel source for community wide heating.  I also served as Site & Landscape Coordinator for Mazria, Odems, Dzurec, an Architecture firm specializing in passive-solar design.

I am currently in the proccess of completing my Architect licensure, while serving as Sustainabiltiy Advisor & Program Manager for the Brightworks Sustainable Buildings Group.  I have recently relocated to San Francisco from the American Southwest.

My hobbies include live music, architectural metal fabrication, biodiesel advocacy, and cross-country bicycling.
