About
A California native (with invasive roots) Perpetually involved with the conservation and distribution of beneficent plants and ethnobotanical knowledge. Endlessly enamored by human / plant relations.
Annual trips to Peru/Bolivia to collect seed, study agricultural practices, ethnobotanize, help establish botanical gardens/nurseries, and continue a long term interdisciplenary project mapping the natural and anthropogenic distribution, taxonomy and indigenous relations to cacti over the millennia. I'm joined by my colleauges: Neil Logan- ethnobotanist, conservationist, agroforestry systems designer, permaculture teacher.
