About

Conservation and the environment have been active concerns since the early 1950s. In the early 1980s I joined my brother, Al Rich, in solar domestic hot water (DHW) systems installation business. (How insightful was President Carter!). Al has remained in the business and has developed a remarkably easily do-it-yourself, fully certified series of DHW systems. I am helping him to market them through www.FloridaSolarHotWater.com.
Community activism is part of my life. Currently, I am involved in developing ecotourism on Florida's Space Coast (www.nbbd.com/ecotourism/) and have played a webmasters role in developing a major birding and wildlife festival: Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival that takes place in January.
