I am amongst other things a (mystic) organic herbalist and sometime(s)- Academic , Clinician , Scientist , Historian, my primary research interest(s) are functional and medicinal foods as chemopreventive and phytotherapeutic agents , natural product pharmacy education , the ethnopharmacology of traditional dietetics in Thailand , the history of medical botany , pharmacognosy , and medical ethnobotany, phytochemical synergy in spice combinations , phytochemistry and phytopharmacology of adaptogenic herbal teas, integrative phytotherapy in type 2 diabetes and oncology , the medical ethnobotany and ethnopharmacy of food in Asia-India, Nepal , Bhutan , Tibet , China (trans-Himalayas),Southeast Asia-focus in Thailand, Italy, Morocco, Hawai'i , Native North America , and Senegal, ethnopharmacy and cultural competence in pharmacy practice.

Hi Cedric,
Thank you for being in touch. Sounds like we have lots of academic and other interests in common. I do plan to attend the Society of Ethnobiology meeting in Victoria next May which coincides with the International Society of Ethnobiology meeting, I believe. Let me know if you need any help looking something up at Wofford. I don't think we even still offer Latin? We have a rich heritage and a wonderful family-like atmosphere. I meet so many wonderful people whose fathers and grandfathers went to Wofford. My own father graduated from Wofford in 1957. My mother also attended science courses at Wofford, but could not be a Wofford student officially since it was still an all-male institution in the 1950s.
