About
I am an American, 60 year old woman. I am married and I have two adult daughters. I live in Lake Oswego, Oregon which is near Portland. I am a retired teacher and I am a writer. I am also a quilter. I am writing a book about people and their quilts. I am especially interested in issues related to children and women which focus on hunger, health, education, and empowerment. I am a member of a group of 16 people who intend to impact hunger for 500,000 people by July, 31, 2008. That's why I decided to sign onto this website.
