About
I am a graduate student, I started my Ph.D. in Microbiology in the fall of 2008. I received my undergrad in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a series of epiphanies about the world and the way it works (or fails to work, as the case may be). My interests are vast and varied yet interconnected as you can see by the partial list I selected from the options. I look forward to exploring this online community and making a difference for the good of everyone!

Just discovered this the other day - shows you how much i'm here (wince). but the interactive map option on the left-hand side panel friggin rocks. just follow the link, type in a zip code and you are well on your way to actually getting involved in your community! (assuming you live near one, obviously).
