About
My main area of focus is urban food security: how will we ensure resilient communities in light of climate change and peak oil? How will we feed the cities? I'm currently doing an MSc in Human Ecology at the Centre for Human Ecology in Glasgow, Scotland, with my dissertation focused on these questions. I came to Scotland firstly to do this course, which is like no other, and secondly to explore urban food initiatives happening in the UK and Europe. Before coming to Scotland, I was involved in a number of different community-based food security/localisation projects and research projects in Melbourne, Australia... and to that I will return when i feel the need to thaw.
