About

I really like sunny weather although not too hot!. I've still got the shirt but the shorts are worn out now. This picture taken during an event aimed at developing a Europe wide WorkNet for the accreditation of people working for their Diploma of Applied Permaculture Design in about 2003. This was whilst I was living and working at Braziers Park (School of Integrative Social Research -established 1950), an intentional community near Oxford in England. Braziers Park, in its long and almost invisible life, had managed to acquire most of the possible disfunctions of intentional communities. Living there (for 5 years) was an intense and educative experience!

Now I am living part-time in another intentional community in Mexico - Huehuecoyotl, near Tepoztlan. However my focus is almost entirely on developing Gaia University (a major extension of a much revised Permaculture Diploma WorkNet) with my partner Liora Adler so I travel a fair bit (USA, England,Germany, Mexico, Chile for the first time this year, Brazil) as part of the work of creating this distributed organization so my connection with community life here is less intense than it was at Braziers Park. I like this better.
